"The Entire First Zelda Game Summed Up in a Sentence"
By Sam Calpino Okay so you you start by a cave and you go into the cave and you get a sword and then you do stuff and get a better sword and change your tunic to blue and then you go to the first dungeon and get a boomerang and a bow and then you kill the dragon Aquamentus and then you get the first shard of the Triforce of Wisdom and then you go to the second dungeon: The Moon Dungeon, and get the magic boomerang and beat the king Dodongo and get the second shard of the Triforce of Wisdom and then you go to the third dungeon, and you get the raft which is used 2 times in the entire game the first is to get a heart container and the 2nd is to get to the next dungeon but I'm getting off track, so you beat Manhandla and get the third shard of the Triforce of Wisdom and then you go to the fourth dungeon and you get the stepladder which lets you walk over 1 block moats of water or lava and then you beat the boss (I forgot what the boss's name was) and then you get the 4th shard of the Triforce of Wisdom and then you get the Power Bracelet, and then you go to a graveyard and get a better sword, and then you can do either the 5th or 6th dungeon (I did the 6th dungeon first, which is the Dragon Dungeon), and in the 6th dungeon you get the Magic Rod which shoots waves which is cool and makes the bow useless and then you get the 5th or 6th shard of the Triforce of Wisdom, and then I went to the 5th dungeon which is the Lizard Dungeon and you get a whistle which you can use to teleport, beat Digdogger which is this dungeon's boss, and get to the 7th dungeon which is the Demon Dungeon and you get the Red Candle and beat Gleeok and get the 7th shard of the Triforce of Wisdom and then you use the Red Candle to get to the 8th dungeon which is the Lion Dungeon, and there you get the Magical Key which gives you infinite keys and the Book of Magic which powers up the Magic Rod and then you beat Gleeok again and get the Triforce of Wisdom in whole and then you go to the final dungeon, the Skull Dungeon, and get the Silver Arrows and the Red Ring which makes your tunic red and then you beat Ganon with the Silver Arrows and then you rescue Zelda, and the game ends. *Okay, so maybe it's a run-on sentence, but it's still one sentence! |
"A Poem"
Anonymous I SEE HUMANS BUT NO HUMANITY WE'RE STILL CHAINED IN THE LAND OF THE FREE PEOPLE SAY, "TRY HARD, YOU'LL DO GREAT" BUT HOW CAN I DO ANYTHING WHEN IM SURROUNDED WITH HATE MY PEOPLE ARE DYING MY BLACK MOTHERS ARE CRYING WE'RE LOSING OUR LIVES, DYING FOR SIMPLY EXISTING BUT YOU GO HOME, AND GET TO KISSING YOUR KIDS, YOUR WIVES, YOUR HUSBANDS WHILE WE'RE STRUGGLING, AND STILL GETTING NOTHING GOING NOWHERE CAN'T YOU HEAR THEM? WAILING IN THE STREETS PRAYING FOR JUSTICE HOPING FOR PEACE? CAN'T YOU SEE THEM? STANDING ALONG THE ROAD HAND IN HAND, FIGHTING AGAINST THE COLD TEARS FLYING IN THE WIND, MORE STORIES TO BE TOLD CAN YOU FEEL WHAT THEY FEEL? WATCHING ANOTHER OFFICER KILL ONE OF THEM, ONE OF THEIRS ITS A HEART, WE ALL SHARE BUT ITS BEING TORN, BIT BY BIT AFTER EVERY HIT, EVERY HIT EVERY BULLET RIPPIN THROUGH THE AIR WE SHOUT, WE SCREAM, AND WE ROAR BLACKLIVESMATTER CAUSE THEY DON'T MATTER TO NO ONE ANYMORE ITS OUR WAR CRY |
The Stress In My Soul
By Kiyah E. Roberts I am 13 My brain is fried Headaches and all Because I grew. School is killing me Slowly. My mother is shriveling in every Act she must commit. But stress.is still.digging.our graves. We all have to learn To be patient. Because the one who is always Gone Is the one we miss the most. I’d like to try many new things. But I also have to think about the Family. Surrounding me. But stress.is still.digging.our graves. The little brat with floppy ears and a slobber mouth that lives here For free. Gives us much more responsibility. He runs around like he is crazy. The youngest waits by the door for the missed one to arrive. The oldest dont listen to anyone. They sit on their phones anticipating on replies. And no one but me seems to notice. But stress.is still. Digging.our graves. |
"The Monster That Lives in My Room"
by Edward Szczender It was time for me to go to sleep, When the monster came out. The monster was silent, huge, It was blue and hairy. Its eyes wide and glowing. It’s fur smelly like rotten teeth. I screamed at the very sight of the monster, I ran and I ran, Until the monster creepily said, “Where are you?” I knew I wasn't safe, Then the monster found me, With its claws out and ready for attack. But when it went for its attack, Some light came through the door, Then I knew I was safe. |
