 Career Day was a huge success today, with Parker's eight grade students gaining a wealth of knowledgefrom the different presenters.
Dr. Lakshmi Emory was one of the presenters, and the lucky students who were able to attend her presentation got a taste of what it's like to be a doctor. Between using stethoscopes to listen to their own heartbeats and looking inside other students' ears with an otoscope, students also had a chance to hear about all of the hard work it takes to become a doctor. |
